That is surprising since he's coaching at SMU. Yes the league will train in Arlington (which isn't far away from SMU), but his promotion to SMU QB Coach means he'll have to be at SMU's Spring Game. Maybe the SMU Spring Game will be scheduled the day before or the day after the Defenders play the Renegades in Arlington.

Interesting then how DC is going to play this out. Waiting for Ta’amu or pick up a different starter? King was a backup anyway. So was Deondre Francois unless they think he can be a number 1.
