Defenders trade QB McClendon to Roughnecks

Per the transaction wire yesterday, the Defenders traded QB Jalan McClendon to the Roughnecks for CB Kiondre Thomas.

Houston now has Nolan Henderson, Davius Richard and McClendon at QB. I'm not sure any of them have done enough to walk into camp as the #1 right away. Also interested is that DC now just has Mike DiLiello as their QB at this point. Does McClendon's trade mean DC is confident Ta'amu will return? Or is there another shoe to drop at the position soon?
