USFL has a longer history, but maybe only the old-timers remember that history. XFL has a more colorful history in the current times. Makes it stronger.

Now that aside, whether one is stronger than the other doesn't really mean a whole lot. Both have had weak points, both still have an annoying fear of their own shadow (or perceived outside "monsters"). With the merger these will, at worst, dramatically lessen.

I think its USFL. But I'm open to using XFL. USFL was looked at favorably over the years and they have 2 full years under belt.

The XFL 1.0 was looked at as clownish. The 2020 season was cut short and the 3 year delay and moves lost alot from that short 5 games.

I'm not sure we're the proper audience for this question - as diehards, we have our biases.

I think you need to ask the casual football fans who may only have a passing acquaintance with these leagues to get a real feel for which brand is stronger. They're the sector each league would be trying to convince to become fans in order to be successful.

They each have their strengths, but as far as target demo, XFL—and the ratings among men 18-49 show it.
