Oliver Luck joins the Morning Blend to talk XFL coming to Tampa Bay
It's gettin' hot in here...and we about to burn 'em up!
Looks like the 2020 XFL champion may be 2-3 seconds short of playing a full season

I saw this. Thanks for posting it. I can't wait to see what name is selected for this team. The rumors are flying out there that they are going to be called The Tiger Sharks. I don't know how I feel about that...…
Tampa is going to be a unique market for the league. It's the league's lone Florida based team. A state where you need to have a pro football team. That will aid them if there is any type of territorial draft. The key in all these markets is the head coach and quarterback. Can The XFL entice someone who has a familiar face there. Everyone's thinking Tebow but he might actually become a major league baseball player by 2020. He's almost there now. Can the Tampa team attract "snowbirds" during the months of February and March. The goal in these world class venues is to attract 20 to 30 thousand per game.

I agree. That’s why the league needs to choose and trademark 5 names per city and then allow the fans to vote on the name. There’s cool uniform potential with a name like Tiger Sharks because of the potential patterns but the name itself doesn’t do anything for me.XFL_FAN wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 7:18 amTiger Sharks?
