St. Louis drew more than any CFL team last year and the ratings are similar, if not better tham the USFL, while being On lesser networks. I hope you have the same respect for the IFL and AFL if/when they return next year. They’ll all be sharing time on the prestigious CBSSN…unless they get preempted by the WNBA or NWSL of course
St Louis' attendance is a spite towards the NFL and Stan Kroneke. Kind of like the Baltimore Stallions were in the CFL during the 90's. They never totally sold out the dome, just the lower bowl. Still saw a lot of empty seats in the upper bowls in a Twitter post. The attendance would drop off over a matter of time if the XFL lasts more then 3 years. If the CFL put a team in St Louis, they would also have tremendous gate attendance there too. St Louis would show up for a pick up game in a parking lot just to spite the NFL and Kroneke. You can't build a football franchise out of spite

Those ratings haven't broken a million threshold since it's opening day. The XFL ratings show that it is not capturing new and casual viewers to it's league. The ratings are way down from it's 2020 year. It's the die-hard fans that have romanticism notions that are tuning in.

That's a big "IF" on Indoor Football. The Albany Empire are close to being folded and it's most successful franchise. Former NFLer, Antonio Brown is a supposed owner and he's walking away from the team because he's stiffing players on their salaries. Some of those Empire guys are signing on with CFL teams already. The AFL ain't returning next year. Nothing but hot air coming from that league.

Geez, you haven't been paying attention to what Paulo has posted on CFL Forums. That dude knows what's he talking about. he stated that CBS will simulcast CFL games on Paramount+ like it does with all it sports properties. And I agree with him.

The CFL got a million dollars for their product while they received little for it from ESPN. Time to make some money instead of giving it away for naught. There is still more to come from the sale of of the second package of CFL games. Give Genius Sports time to broker a deal
The Albany Empire play in the NAL, not the IFL, which will be in CBSSN later this summer. DC had an NFL team and sold out its last 2 games, so it's not just St. Louis leading the way. The XFL also broke 1 million viewers 3 more times on ABC after week 1 and likely a few more times once the ESPN+ viewers are counted. The USFL hasn't hit a million once this year. That's 4 strikes, you're out
I was pointing out the problems that some indoor teams have. It doesn't matter what league they are playing in.

XFL ratings peaked on opening day and have struggled since. You can't include ESPN- numbers because they aren't disclosed by ESPN nor can you consolidate ratings together to get to the million mark threshold. The XFL got killed by March Madness and they are going to get killed again if they go against March Madness And the is the definition of insanity.

The level of play in the USFL is better than the XFL. The USFL plays closer to NFL rules. The XFL is trying to be cute adding rules to a game that isn't broken

Although it's more entertainment than a fifth strike
Says the dude that mocks recovering alcoholics with a analogous comparison to crowd size.

I wear my banishment from that sad site like a badge of honor. Before I came on this CFL section, there was nothing being posted on here. I bring traffic to this site. You're an example of my point by you posting on here

I can't be the only one who is growing exhausted with this guy's deliberate trolling and disinformation... am I?

If not, why is he still allowed to be around?

i can confidently say that "spite" has nothing to do with the ticket buying fans here ( of any sport )

unless you think that "Kroenke spite" also causes sell outs at soccer, hockey and baseball games
I don't care what transpires with the other St. Louis teams. Yet the Battle Hawks fans show up with signs that say F**K the NFL and chant "F**k Kroneke!", that's spite. And you refuse to admit it.

Once the NFL gave the City of St Louis that multi-million dollar settlement. The City of St. Louis will never get a NFL franchise again. St Louis lost three NFL teams, the Cardinals and the Rams twice. If the XFL wasn't a single ownership entity, you wouldn't have pro football because no local ownership has stepped up to purchase a football franchise in an Indoor league or with the CFL. The XFL is the only game in town until the XFL folds again for a third time

I'm not sure how many people here actually know about this, but if you click on a user's name, it will take you to their profile page. If you click "add foe," it will ignore all of that person's posts for you so you don't see them. It sucks to have to do that, but it certainly makes coming to this board a lot more tolerable for me anyway.

A board can’t ban a user for their opinion. Personal attacks are another thing altogether.

Take Greg’s advice, as it is good. One way to endure someone who bothers you is to ignore them.
