Let me give you my take on MLB - too many teams making playoffs after a long season, like NBA and NHL. NFL getting there... XFL and USFL has it right IMO.

Really, you sound like one of those hopium babies over at ArenaFan, I remember about 10 years ago or so ago when Aaron Garcia threw ten touchdown passes in a game and there were a few small writeups (the usual buried on page 26) and about a 5 or 10-second mention on ESPN and you'd think that was The Moment, ummmmmmm nope.

And yes, both leagues will do it. Makes them look like junkies.
