They are in mediation which apparently is an indication that a settlement may be coming soon. I had seen a video awhile ago where the real usfl went through what they want and it seemed to come down to money, recognition, and potentially being involved with the new league. It’ll be interesting to see if it happens

Hopefully they can button this up and start leveraging the history. Would make everything feel a lot more real, imo.

Maybe the New USFL can offer them a deal to accept all profits generated from 2022 ticket sales.

There's a well known anecdote (that I will probably butcher) about the founder of a banana company who wanted to acquire a tract of land somewhere in the Caribbean. Two different parties claimed to be the owner, but because of the way governments were constantly being overthrown, it wasn't clear exactly which deed was legitimate. Mediation was going to be tedious and would probably have to involve handing out bribes. Every day that this lingered was going to cost the banana company money.
So the founder separately met with both "owners" and bought the land twice.

You do realize they didn’t plan on making their main revenue from ticket sales right?

I believe all ticket sales go to the City/Gov agencies that provided the stadiums for their exclusive use to the league.

What's the other option? NFTs?

The nft money goes to the players. As they’re owned by fox I would say ad revenue and whatever nbc is paying

Fuzz,
We covered this in this thread. USFL/FOX sold TV rights to NBC for money. FOX is also selling commerical time on their USFL broadcast.
