I hope for this league to succeed, but the money behind it has to be considered as an investment, because it will be hard to realize a profit. If the league is seen as lame, even sponsors will be scarce.
I know the XFL is watching this, and seeing the difference of stadium atmosphere between the Birmingham team games and the other team games. See how the bubble is a hype killer for non-home teams.

Not to mention totally reconsidering the hard sell (for lack of a better term) show after seeing how bad UBF has been. Today's update: Poorly timed segment with Chase DeMoor and Shea Patterson at the driving range, and still promoting Pizzagate.

A bubble for a new league isn't good. It's fine for established leagues like the NHL (two hubs in Canada in 2020), NBA (a bubble in Florida in 2020) and MLB (post season bubble in Arlington, Texas in 2020) because they know that the fans will return to their leagues but it's not good for the USFL and it won't be good for the XFL if they do it.

Wouldn't it have been better to have a 7:30 start for HOU/BHAM instead of 7 considering MLB (or anything else) games rarely finish in a three hour window?
