Here’s a link at the bottom to the new vs the old.
What do you guys think, I personally didn’t like the old ones that much and do t love the new ones either but think they’re a slight improvement

I'm really hoping that the USFL doesn't have a single uniform designer make all the teams look alike like the XFL2 kind of did.
If you're gonna use the USFL branding....at least go with the classic looks.

Idk I know there’s a ton of speculation about adidas and under armor because scouts and workers were seen wearing gear by those companies.
I was hoping theyd change up the look from the old, especially in away unis. I guess they modernized them a little but I still don’t love them

I'd definitely use pure throwbacks. Leverage the brand and the history that you jumped through so many hoops to acquire. You can always do new stuff later.

Moose Johnston just said expect them to look like the old jerseys for all the teams with just minor tweaks so they aren’t as dated

Of all the modern touches to add to that, why did it have to be contrasting side panels?
If they're going to use black side panels I hope the pants are black and not that pale gray from before.
Back in '84 I liked the black as a contrast to the Oilers' Columbia blue, but now you have an NFL team in Houston that wears similar colors in similar proportions to the Gamblers. Everything black on the Gamblers uniform is navy on the Texan's uniform, except for the red numbers on the Texans' road jersey.
The original USFL had a problem with way too much red and black. Which then became a problem in sports in general.

That would be perfect, imo. Of course, one man's minor tweak is another's bastardization, so we'll just have to see what they deliver.

Okay, I've seen the Gamblers' pants. That's a pretty big change from the shade of gray the original Gamblers used.
I'm not thrilled with that shade, but it shows there's a willingness to alter the secondary colors.
Which is going to help when you've got four franchises that historically wore red jerseys and two with exactly the same team colors of red and gold, plus one team that wore plum and champagne.

I’m interested by what the stars unis look like, the logo has a lot more orange in it than the old one. I’d love to see a red orange focus with yellow incorporated. As for the gamblers old vs new I think I like the new more but would’ve preferred they became more different than the old ones than what they did
