A special announcement regarding the final 4 coaches. I would assume that means they will be named.

I’m really rooting to see Jonathan Hayes and Marvin Lewis. Todd Haley said Jeff fishers involved with the league also but idk if it’s coaching or as an exec

Fisher would be a good HC pick.

It wouldn’t bother me at all but I’d rather him be an exec or at the very least not the panthers coach lol

If he is a coach, what a great hire he would be for the USFL! They would be hard to find someone that brings more NFL experience, not to mention name recognition. I know some don’t like him but I think you will have that with most any hire. Many coaches go through down times, some deserve the criticism and others not as much.
I think there was chatter Fisher was in line for the Roughnecks job and then backed out because he wanted to hold out for another shot in the NFL, which never came. That’s why June Jones was such a late hire. I don’t know how much truth there was to this though.
Skip Holtz - Birmingham & Kirby Wilson Pitts

Skip Holtz - Birmingham

Kirby Wilson Pitts

A bit underwhelming but satisfactory clearly Gene C was a bettor choice in Birmingham, but they aren't over paying.
Kirby sounds like a journeyman position coach in NFL something I'd expect would be interested in USFL. He was a Pittsburgh position coach for 7 seasons.
Holtz is another CFB guy. Group of 5 coach with overall success - but in C-USA. E Carolina & LT more recently.

USFL now has more black head coaches than the NFL.

Extremely disappointing that they’re changing it to only announce 2
