Birmingham has secured funding an announcement from the city and the league is expected soon

I may be setting myself up for disappointment but I’m really excited. People who would likely know I’ve talked to have said it’s expected to be pro with salaries similar to the xfl.

I may be setting myself up for disappointment but I’m really excited. People who would likely know I’ve talked to have said it’s expected to be pro with salaries similar to the xfl.
Haven't heard anything about pay structure from any news source, and really don't care. Players will be there regardless.

Ya players will be there regardless but I still wanted to see it be professional. Having decent pay allows for some players you wouldn’t get access to with TSL model or just no pay but no fees

I have no idea if they will or won't - perhaps even a hybrid model. And I'm sure paying them as employees drives the need for Workers Comp which may be the ultimate reason for not paying them
Having said that - having all players in one state and with likely low WC ins rates may help drive down WC ins sshould they pay the players.
