USFL to NSFL

It sounds like Fox’s league will not be called the USFL after all but will be called the National Spring Football League and will use the USFL team names

I'm actually fine with this. This will be nothing like the original USFL, so using its name to get a cheap pop would just tarnish the brand. It'd be like calling a hamburger a ribeye steak just because they're both made from the same animal.

That is Nonsense. The legal holding company of the league is the NSFL. Unless some last minute legal dispute happend its just misinformed reporting.... shocking in today's age I know :roll:

That’s what I thought as well. I’ve seen claims it’s either a legal issue or it’s just bad reporting

I don’t think the new USFL could really do anything to tarnish the legacy, if it’s a flop it’ll be forgotten if it’s a hit that’s good for the brand.
