FOX and NBC are the drivers, not FS1 or USA/Peacock
I'm a big draft guy, watched day 1/2 but the Day 1 to Day 2 drop off is 80% normally and this draft was a weak showing in Day 1.

But by 4pm on Saturday, its what 7th round? After 3/4 I'm just waiting for lists to come out select team picks on phone.

All need to do "well" however that is defined - clearly way lower for cable.

Day 3 is important for Alt Football because that's where the USFL will get some of their players from when the inevitable happens and they lose players to the NFL. Also possibly a pool of players for the XFL.

The worst team in the league's gotta go somewhere though, I wouldn't put the Maulers on either NBC or FOX the rest of the year--they already got 5/29 vs BHAM on FOX, hopefully they've improved enough by then.

The AFL would have never made it today, hell the Raiders were actually the last of the original eight to at least finish .500 (and cable was still a decade or so from having them to hide teams off on).
