There are wrestling fans who love AEW instead of WWE because AEW isn't WWE.MGB01 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 1:11 amWhich ones would those be, the ones who complained about the WWF squashing all the WCW guys in the Invasion angle and yet were completely silent when AEW did the same to Impact? Or how about the ones that got all butthurt when Jeff Hardy was in a 24/7 title segment yet are OK with him headlining Dark? Go ahead and have them.GDAWG wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 1:05 amMGB01 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 12:43 am
Funny they've been supposedly doing that for the last two years yet they have the same viewership, despite flooding the company with every available big name that's been on RAW, Smackdown, or NXT in the last decade. And their "momentum" said hell with it and left when he realized that Tony Khan knows as much about running a wrestling promotion as he does a football team (American or Euro)
Well people who watch wrestling like AEW more than WWE.
Newsflash, most fans don't like either

Which is totally a non-reason cause while you're focused on 'OTHER HAND BAD!!!!!!!!!', the "good" hand is doing the exact same thing as the other.GDAWG wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 2:27 amThere are wrestling fans who love AEW instead of WWE because AEW isn't WWE.MGB01 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 1:11 amWhich ones would those be, the ones who complained about the WWF squashing all the WCW guys in the Invasion angle and yet were completely silent when AEW did the same to Impact? I’m disappointed Jones and Mumme aren’t involved too, as well as Spurrier. Their offense’s were top in the XFL, TSL and AAF. These leagues need cohesive offenses that score points. Defenses are normally ahead of offenses early on in these leagues. The USFL missed on them, (and it shows) and the XFL missed on them too, unless they can convince them to join as coordinators, (probably not likely). Well, maybe a Stoops/Mumme reunion is possible.4th&long wrote: ↑Fri Apr 22, 2022 11:26 pmV bad game for Shea. He had a better game last week, the only thing they did fix was the fumbling. The Mich d played well but the passing offense needs work. Nine days before the Panthers play again - use the time.
Did they put in Lynch at all? I didn't see that.
NJ has a solid team but Riley gets conservative and they can't seem to put the game away, two in a row where they put the game in jeopardy.
Of the five games so far - this was least exciting - yet close so kept me watching. AltFB needs coachs like June Jones and Hal Mumme - I'm disappointed they aren't HC's/OC's
NJ -1.5 is a winner! that covers my NJ last second loss last week. As is the Under... why would I pass on that?

Ratings for Dynamite in total viewers and key demos are up almost 30% YOY in Q1 2022. Every PPV so far has beaten the previous year's buyrates. YouTube views are up. Google searches are up. But you clearly have SOMETHING against AEW, so this probably won't mean anything to you.
To bring this back to the USFL: I'm not sure Fox will be too pleased with Pat Mcafee for calling the USFL "amateur hour" last night on Smackdown.

Pat McAcfee does call Smackdown everyweek? I know lots of people like him but he sounds like he's just trying to be cool all the time, with that rasby voice like he was out clubbing all night and just ran 2 miles full speed out of breath and always looking to be "f" t to things. I can't listen to him. He fits into wrestling which is more full entertainment.GregParks wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 9:14 amYeah, that's just not true:MGB01 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 12:43 amFunny they've been supposedly doing that for the last two years yet they have the same viewership, despite flooding the company with every available big name that's been on RAW, Smackdown, or NXT in the last decade. Why would he call a Fox product that and on Fox? He's always looking for attention.

Perspective:
https://www.xfl.com/articles/week-2-rec ... -defenders
DC blowout NY Guardians 27-0 in week 2 of XFL. NY had 137 yrds total offense. I remember a few games like this.
Its a new league and alt football, things tend to improve. Yet some like Cardale Jones go backwards.
Michigan has the D so far but needs to get at least 17 points a game to give them a shot.
