Are these lightning delays a new things in last 10-15 years - I don't recall this BS. This is not sustainable for TV, they need a plan going into 2024. They just ruined 2 major network games.
It has a lot to do with the time of year too. Stormier, more humid weather in May-July than October -January when NFL and college ball is playing

I hear you but I've gone to plenty of Bucs preseason when its always T-storming (August IS the season) about and never seen this. Its June not August. It's just ultra cautious, in a liability crazed world.

But how ever you slice it... its not sustainable for the league. They need a path forward to deal with these situations or avoid them (as best they can).
