Undrafted free agents
Will the USFL be going after any of the undrafted free agents from the NFL draft?

A couple showed up in TSL last year it's not out of the question
I don't know if the NFL still has that rule about the quarter system (they aren't out til June), that could help point kids who just want the reps

Re: Undrafted free agents
I imagine it'd be a tough sell. If a player had to choose between the USFL and an NFL deal, and they chose the USFL, they'd be missing out on NFL rookie minicamps and OTAs. And at best, they'd end up with a shot in an NFL training camp after the USFL season, which is what they would've gotten had they just chosen the NFL over USFL to begin with.
Now, maybe they could offer a contract to players who are only getting rookie minicamp invites and not NFL contracts. That may give players some pause. But when you're targeting players who aren't even good enough to get UDFA deals, I'm not sure how in-demand those players will be for USFL teams, especially mid-season. This is all part of the reason the USFL season doesn't occur at a great time for players with NFL aspirations.
