Saunders will play in The Spring League, the developmental football league that plays in the spring. The league confirmed Saunders has joined the roster of its Aviators team.

Saunders was recently able to showcase his skills by running routes and catching passes for Justin Fields during his two pro day workouts for NFL teams. <<

I would expect some other UDFA to sign on, if they didn't get a call from an NFL club soon after the NFL or CFL drafts. If the TSL started a week or two later, they'd signed likely more up front.

This is the kinda tweets (by the reporters etc... with some followers) the league needs multiple daily for a month prior to opening kickoff.
