So we'll see how many former AAF players get their NFL shot, and how many go to the XFL...

That’s just a formality and window dressing by the AAF, to make it appear as if they opened up a portal for the players to go to the NFL.
All player and coach contracts were terminated. So players can go anywhere they please.
Hopefully a good number of AAF players get a shot in NFL Camps. It should be about 20 to 30.

I am interested in seeing if there is any interest in Trent Richardson, despite failing in the NFL twice.

He didn't look very good in AAF. He scored a lot of touchdowns at the goal line, but he couldn't get more than a yard anywhere else on the field. He did look decent catching out of the backfield though. I doubt he goes to the NFL.

Seeing reports that Apollos CB Keith Reaser has been signed by the Chiefs. So he the first.

He might get some workouts when teams have injuries at the position. If he doesn’t get a contract to join a 90 player roster.
There could be a role for him as a banger off the bench. Kind of like a Blount role. He did a decent job catching the ball out of the backfield.

Even the original XFL had about 40 players make the NFL. I think Reaser has a real shot. Derron Smith, the safety from San Antonio should get a shot too.

Arguably the most explosive player in the AAF. From time to time, he will have a case of the dropsies but Carolina could use a deep threat
