"Johnny Manziel now will go through the AAF waiver system since the San Antonio Commanders released his college allocation rights. Lowest win-loss percentage up first for Johnny Football."

Desperate for a good rating on CBS week 9, I guess. Glad the XFL didn't sign him.

I saw how the AAF broadcast crew talked about Manziel at the Orlando-Arizona halftime. They talked about his Heisman winning form, and his ability to stay mobile and run the ball. Not a mention of the "issues" that have made Manziel damaged property.

It would be interesting to see if the AAF releases any info about the conditions of Manziel's employment.

We will wait and see how long this tenuous relationship lasts.

I think Alex Flanagan had an orgasm talking about him. It was weird.

That's a 12 noon game. The league would be thrilled if they get 2 million viewers.

It's like finally getting to talk about a player. They know.

Desperation move by the AAF; sure hope he never comes to our XFL!

I think he would've ended up in the XFL had he not signed with the AAF. Let's face it, there aren't very many big names for either league to go after.

I thought he might have a chance when he signed with the CFL, that maybe he was really trying to turn things around. Obviously, that didn't work out so well. I am glad he signed with the AAF rather than the XFL, we don't need to launch a league with a so called "marquee" player with that much baggage. It would have been perfect for the old XFL but not the new one. It's OK to be a redemption league or a regret you didn't draft/keep them league but we don'the need the negative notoriety this time around.

Very true. So many uniformed folks think the XFL will be more of the same in 2020 and that signing certainly would not have helped that idea.
