-561k compared to Week 2 game on TNT

3/10 - 300k viewers - NFL Network (0.19)

I expected a drop but not one like that. That TNT drop is huge, and is really a gauge on where the league is in terms of TV. Their first TNT game was an NBA All-Star lead-in, so it wasn't really indicative of interest in the league. They better find another way to make money because, with numbers like these, they aren't going to get much for TV in a deal next year.

A cut of over half in that TNT game? And wait until March Madness happens on that other TNT game...

I don't think that's a fair comparison for the TNT slot. Different time, different lead in, different novelty level.

The NFLN slot, on the other hand ...

I think that's the biggest issue they're facing. I'm actively seeking out the games, but for a casual observer they're not gonna have a clue what's going on.
