XFL continues to sign possible players for 2024 season

Despite a pending merger with the USFL, the XFL continues to conduct the business of signing players intended for training camps which would take place prior to their 2024 season.

The details of the upcoming season, such as a schedule and a roster of teams is unknown at this time although it is expected to be announced soon.

On November 2, 2023, the XFL announced that five players signed letters of intent to play in the XFL.

On October 27, 2023, the XFL announced that two players signed letters of intent to play in the XFL.

Rumors persist that the league will not carry all its eight teams into the merger with the USFL, however it continues to sign players all its eight teams. If rumors become true, there would likely be a dispersal draft where players assigned to teams that would not play in 2024 would be assigned to teams that plan to play in the newly merged league.
