According to a report by Dallas Morning News, the UFL has leased offices in Bedford near DFW Airport.
The Arlington-based UFL leased space on two floors of the building at 3301 Airport Freeway in Bedford.
The almost 20,000-square-foot offices will be used as operations centers for the UFL’s San Antonio Brahmas and Michigan Panthers. Each of the UFL’s eight teams has separate operations centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to building owner SkyWalker Property Partners.
Teams use the offices for brand-building and support services.
“Having a high-profile national tenant like the UFL choose our building is exciting,” SkyWalker Property’s Chris Aguilar said in a statement.
Trevor Brown and Theron Bryant of Transwestern negotiated the lease with Dean Collins of Cushman & Wakefield.
As of 2022, the Airport Freeway office building has been renovated and is currently 86% leased.
“The landlord believes the UFL’s presence will bring new energy to the building, which is well-positioned for the league because of the proximity to the teams’ practice facilities at Pennington Field and DFW International Airport,” Aguilar said.
The UFL plans to have the new Bedford offices operating in time for the start of training camp on February 24, 2024.
“Having the San Antonio Brahmas and Michigan Panthers in the Bedford market is a strong economic catalyst,” Aguilar said. “We value our asset highly and are hopeful this lease will lead to a long-term relationship between the UFL and SkyWalker Property Partners.”
