Terrell Buckley to become head coach of XFL Orlando

Arron Wilson of Pro Football Network has reported that Terrell Buckley will become the head coach of an XFL franchise in Orlando.

Former NFL standout corner Terrell Buckley (a 13-year veteran, 50 career interceptions, former Mississippi, Mississippi State and Louisville secondary coach and Jim Thorpe award winner at FSU, is the new XFL head coach for the Orlando franchise, per a league source. @PFN365

Buckley is a former NFL cornerback with the Packers, Dolphins, Patriots, among others, and a former cornerbacks coach at Ole Miss.

On April 5th, Buckley tweeted a video of himself signing a contract and remarking, “big things coming soon. Stay tuned.”

As of today, the XFL has not yet officially confirmed Buckley’s hiring. In addition, the league has not officially announced a franchise for Orlando.
