>>  Detroit City Football Club is planning to build a soccer-specific stadium in the Corktown/Southwest Detroit area, the club announced on Thursday.According to the club, they have acquired the site of a former Southwest Detroit Hospital at the corner of Michigan Ave. and 20th Street to build the new stadium. The goal is to have it open by the 2027 season. <<

Could this be used by the Michigan Panthers?

Sure, it COULD be used by the Panthers... Aunt Tillie's back yard could be used by the Panthers...

Will it be economically feasible?  Will Detroit City FC be willing to share THEIR pitch with the Panthers and build out proper hard points for cameras for the UFL?

We'll have to see... as this is a private group doing it, it's entirely up to that group if they're willing to put up with faded UFL markings and damage to the turf for some sweet cash.

I just point to DC. The United don't have as much of a choice with Audi Field, but the co-existence works.

Exactly - and its more money for 5 games - its competition for Ford Field and may factor in UFL decision making

Not every MLS team is going to be open to allowing Spring Football to ruin their fields.  Even if they don't own their stadiums, they are the primary tenant, which means that they have the right to say no to spring football if they want to.  I would not be at all surprised if DC United are the only ones to allow Spring football to happen.
