BOOM:
>> This past Sunday afternoon’s D.C.-San Antonio game averaged 1,220,000 viewers on FOX. <<
Big MARKET in DC; BAD weather in MidAtlantic/NorthEast; and a Tight entertaining game; AND NO NBA Playoff = Huggggge TV Rating !
What was the competition:
SUNDAY 5/5 competition NBA:Orlando at Cavs 1pm on ABC - game 7; NHL:Carolina at Rangers 4pm - game 1 - ESPN

Wk 6 Viewership FULL WEEK
Per Mike M (#'s)
#UFL Week 6 TV Ratings (Average Viewership)
Saturday 5/4
Birmingham-Memphis (ABC): 956,000
Houston-St. Louis (FOX): 829,000
Sunday 5/5
Arlington-Michigan (FOX): 929,000 (opposite Game 7 NBA Cavs - Magic)
San Antonio-D.C. (FOX): 1,220,000 (opposite Game 1 NHL CAR - NYR)
And here we go again - UFL lowest viewed game is the highest attended...
Proving once again that ATTENDANCE DOES NOT EQUATE TO VIEWERSHIP
And there was NO NBA opposite StL either
Over all great Week! Avg was 984k across all 4 games - WOOOHOOOO!
If Stl / Houston hit 900k it wuld have been a 1mm avg for the week... CLOSE

Re: Wk 6 Viewership
I'm just going to assume the Memphis - Birmingham game drew an extra 44k viewers on ESPN+ to hit that 1 million mark.

Wk 6 Viewership - Mich/AR peak at 1.5mm
>>Mike Mitchell@ByMikeMitchell
The first game of Sunday’s #UFL doubleheader on FOX featuring the Michigan Panthers and Arlington Renegades averaged 929,000 viewers.
The game peaked at more than 1.5 million viewers-from 4:00 to 4:15 PM ET. As future NFL kicker Jake Bates kicked another walk-off winning field goal. <<
WOW and the NBA game was over people switched to UFL - tells me sans NBA this was likely over 1mm also

Product of less competitive market or trusting the process and seeing results?

Latter, theyve tested it out in more competitive spaces (NCAA Tournament, NBA playoffs, and even WWE's biggest PLE) and been comparable.
And the HTHs will be mostly done in a couple weeks so having these numbers are huge, keeping them now that there's only one real race left (SA/DC) will be even better. But the playoffs are gonna be nice.

DC & SA both have meaningful games the rest of the way so it should make for some compelling drama as we get closer to the end of the season. DC has a must win game vs Michigan if they want to stay alive.

Here's something interesting, a replay of the DC- San Antonio game drew an additional 223k viewers on FS1 later Sunday evening. Scroll to the bottom of the chart, very impressive for a 10pm replay.
