USFL & XFL sites redirect to UFL

Post by 4th&long »

The merging of leagues continues as theUSFL.com website and XFL.com are now redirected to theUFL.com.  Was looking to see rosters as so many recent changes...

The two leagues are becoming one as the organizations come together.

Everything they do is slow and deliberate. There isn’t much on their new site.  Meanwhile, the clock ticks down toward 30 March. Hopefully they soon kick it up a notch by posting their 2024 schedule.

Everything on the old sites like stats and rosters is probably gone now. Football database has archives

I say the schedule comes next week. As soon as Lions/Niners are done that's it, it's the first week without football (Pro Bowl doesn't count, neither do the college ASGs) since August; FOX is done football-wise, so they're "aligned" with ESPN from that point; and it's ridiculous to have these team events that happen in February/March without a schedule to go with it.

FOX has had two Super Bowls in the current "alt-era", both of them were very favorable to the product. Hell if anything they'll ramp it up again to spite CBS, whose lone "mention" of the AAF were a few graphics--no Nantz promos/commercials (somehow I didn't get around to mentioning this when Dave was here about how they would take the CFL to the "next level", but in fairness to myself that would have been overkill).
