This is the 7th QB that they have now. Something has to give here. Connor Blumrick can also play TE so his versatility is enough to keep him on the roster, so that reduces the number to 6. Kevin Anderson and Kelly Bryant might not be back in 2024 and if they are not back, that number is down to 4. The Renegades do not need 7 QBs headed into camp, 4 is more than enough. We will know soon what happens to Anderson and Bryant.

I would assume the 42 protected players would include draftees. The protected players are those teams had the rights to before the draft or who were on the team last year. Then they draft players to add to it. The only players available in the super dispersal draft are the (a) players not among those 42 protected by each surviving team and (b) players not drafted in today's dispersal draft from those contracted franchises.
