he did his weekly local radio appearance today and didn't say anything major about the news but said that the 8 team format that was announced had to happen in order to stabilize spring football. He also said that the NFL was waiting and seeing which of the two leagues comes out on top.

Remember, before he was trash-talking the XFL at every turn in '23, he was a staffer with the Renegades. So this would be a fitting homecoming for him.

I like this quote:

This might ruffle Cardinale's feathers a bit, but Oliver Luck had it right when he talked about losing control when you let a big gun like the NFL come in and start dictating your decisions. And given the NFL's past record with minor league investment, it's no guarantee of success, even with the money they're making.

As for the San Antonio thing... I am thinking maybe sloppy reporting. I saw it in an article on the Michigan Panthers from The Detroit News earlier today that claimed Arlington was one of the teams being shut down .
